Trism/Syllogism with walkthrough

I’ve been obsessed with Trism. More specifically, with one of the game variations in it, Syllogism.
Trism is a really fun app for the iPhone. It’s not new or anything; it has been around awhile apparently. The goal of syllogism is to get rid of all of the triangles in as few moves as possible. A couple of months of this and I’ve gotten it down to as few moves as I can: 14 under par. I can’t see any way to get it lower, but maybe someone else has some suggestions…
Although I’m including my solutions, I encourage you to try it on your own. Use the walkthrough sparingly if you must. I understand how maddening it is when you can’t figure a level out (I’m looking at you, Blackhearted) so if this helps, great. If you have a better solution to a level let me know!
SPOILER ALERT!!
Walkthrough:
Here’s how I completed each of the 30 levels of Syllogism to get to -14 -15 -17!(see comments):
- DR
- DL
- DL – L
- UL(2) – DR(2) *the number in parens means let the triangles continue to slide after the first group is eliminated
- DR – UR – L
- DR(4) – DL(4)
- L(2) – DR – L
- UR – L
- R – DR – DL
- L – UR – DR

For whatever reason, 18 was particularly hard for me. It took forever to get past that level. But once I had the solution it seemed really simple. Also, 29 took some work to get it below par. I had it at 7 for the longest time then I stumbled on the 5-step solution almost by accident.

thanks for the tips, I got past quite a few but you seriously helped me get quite a few under par!
I haven’t played in ages. I’m going to forget it all so I can go back and do it again.
I wonder if anyone has managed to get further below par than 14?
Thanks for the tips for 29 and 30.
Regarding your question:
I have the counter down to 15 below par. Level 17 is possible 1 below par.
Just made it again to give you the solution:
DR-DL-UR-UL-UR(2)-UL-UR-R
I have updated the walkthrough. Great job!!
I have got level 17 in 8. (-1 par)
DR DL UR UL UR(2) UL UR R
This gives you a whopping -15
I wouldn’t have been able to do it without the help of this walkthrough, so thank you
))))
MrE
Sorry, got to walkthrough page via google and as I left the last message, the other strings came up.
Please ignore
You’re welcome! Always glad to see someone getting enjoyment out of this great app. I wonder if they plan on making Trism 2?
I sorted out 10 moves (-3 par) on the level 30, in that case, you can get -16 totally, try that:))
L-UR-UL-UR-DR(1)-DL-R-UR-UL-L
And it seems that there is still further movement on level 23, but I am still working on that.
Sure enough! Great job, longfeixuan! I’ve been working on level 23 with no success at dropping it further. I’m very interested in seeing how it could be done. Good luck and please let us all know what you come up with.
I got the (-2) on the level 23, and the new record is -17 par totally. I checked with the official forum and found -17 is the best score.
It needs to start with blue, then yellow and the last orange.
Hopefully, this solution will make sense.
DL-L-UL-R-UR-R-DL-R-UR-DR-UR.
Cheers, and enjoy that
I figured it out with just your blue-yellow-then-orange clue. For some reason I couldn’t see past getting the easy orange right after the blue. Thanks for helping out!
I am kind of bummed to know that this is as low as it can go. Maybe it can be lowered? I’ll not stop trying. I am anxiously awaiting a Trism 2, or an expansion or something. Syllogism is such a great puzzle.
[...] we’re back, baby. Trism walkthrough is up again, and I really am working on an update to the Coat of Arms Creator. A couple more posts [...]

Trism 2 coming! Can’t wait …
I’ve had a whole deal of trouble with blackhearted too ! That helped a lot and I ended up using it to lower my par also, Thanks !
Level 18 WT doesn’t work 4 me.. Any1?
Make sure you let the black blocks continue to fall after all of the pinks are cleared. This is noted as DR(2). Other than that, I can’t see what might be the problem as it works for me.
Let me know if it still isn’t working for you.
I am very thankful to this topic because it really gives up to date information :`’
What does d mean and u and is r right and d down
Claire, there are six directions you can tilt the device:
Right (R)
Down to the Right (DR)
Down to the Left (DL)
Left (L)
Up to the Left (UL)
Up to the Right (UR)
thanks for this! On my summerbreak I have spent hours to tackle level 18 (blackhearted one) couldn’t figure it out. Finally i can sleep again!
